Introduction
Be part of this milestone. The Bachelor
in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage is the first
of its kind to be offered here in Singapore. Graduates
will receive the same degree conferred to students on
campus. With English as the medium of instruction, this
degree programme is also suitable for larger Muslims
community is Singapore. The Singapore Islamic Scholars
and Religious Teachers Association (PERGAS) and the
International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) are
set to enrich the educational landscape of Singapore as
this degree offers new educational, career and
employment routes to successful graduates.
Programme Structure
The Degree Programme will run for 4 1/2
years, with each year consisting of 2 full-semesters,
and one short semester.

the premises of PERGAS

Lecture Schedule
Lectures be held for two consecutive
weeks on weekends*, i.e. Saturday and Sunday, of every
semester. The third week will be a break. After which
lectures will resume as before and continue with this
cycle for every semester.
* There might be some weeknights lectures depending on
lecturers availability.
Course Fees
The fees for the programme are as
follows:
- A one-time administration fee of $70.00 (including
purchase of prospectus)
- $4500.00 per year, with flexi quarterly payments
Admissions Criteria
Students will be admitted into the Degree
Programme upon the fulfilment of the following admission
criteria:
At least four (4) principal passes in the General
Certificate of Education (GCE) ‘O' Level obtained at one
sitting together with one of the following:
a) 5 years working experience or
b) Pass Tsanawi ‘Ali of Singapore's full-time Madrasah
examination with at least Jayyid or
c) Diploma from institutions recognized by the
Government of Malaysia and the Senate of the University
or
d) Diploma Pendidikan Islam (DPI) PERGAS with at least
Jayyid or
e) Diploma Pengajian Islam (DPI) Institut Pengajian
Tinggi Islam Al-Zuhri with at least Jayyid; or
f) Any other qualification that are recognized by the
Senate of the University as equivalent to the above.
